How to Make Salvation Bracelets
A salvation bracelet is a testimonial piece of jewelry that is worn as a symbol of a Christian's faith. Each bead on the bracelet has a specific meaning that can be shared with anyone who is interested in learning about it. The gold bead used in salvation jewelry stands for Heaven. The black bead represents sin and separation from God, as explained in the Bible verse Romans 3:23. The red color is for the blood of Christ that has been shed for us. White or clear shows that we are forgiven and cleansed from sin as stated in Isaiah 1:18. Blue stands for the Holy Spirit or baptism. Another color that can be added is purple, a symbolic color for royalty, as Christians believe that Christ is king.

1
Cut an eight- to ten-inch piece of soft rawhide cording or string. You can choose to use elastic cording and smaller beads if you are making this bracelet for a preteen.
-
2
Tie a single knot three and a half inches from one end of the cording. Be sure the knot is tight to give it a more attractive appearance.
-
-
3
String the beads onto the cording. Start with the gold bead, continue with black, red, white, green, and blue, and end with purple. (You can choose to leave the purple off of the bracelet.) A cross charm can be added to the end of the bead row on a salvation bracelet that is being made for a girl.
-
4
Tie a secure knot in the cording on the other side of the row of beads.
-
5
Wrap the salvation bracelet around your wrist and tie the two ends firmly. The cording should be in a slightly loose ring around your wrist, making it possible to roll it over your hand to remove it. If you have a small wrist, add an additional three inches before cutting the cording.
