How to Convert PDF to TIF

TIF, or TIFF, is an acronym for "tagged image file format," a common format for digital images. The advantage of TIF is that an image can be edited and saved multiple times without losing its quality. Conversion of PDF to a TIF image is typically needed to incorporate it into a presentation or post on a website. Adobe Acrobat allows to save a PDF as a TIF file.

Instructions

1. Start Adobe Acrobat.

2. Click "File" and select "Open." Browse your computer and open the PDF file you wish to convert.

3. Click "File" and choose "Save As." Select "TIFF (*.tif, *.tiff)" using the drop-down list box "Save as type."

4. Click "Settings." In the field "Conversion," select a desired resolution (for example, 300 pixel/inch) for the TIF file. Click "OK."

5. Click "Save" to convert PDF and save the TIF file.
