- Wood handled knives
- Soapstone counters
- Wooden cabinets
- Clay flower pots
- Cutting boards
- Paper towels
- Newspapers
- Stainless steel
-
Step 1
Use mineral oil to remove make-up from your face.
-
Step 2
Put a tiny bit of this magnificent substance on a cotton swab to clean the outer parts of a cat's ears.
-
Step 3
Clean hard plastic with it.
-
Step 4
Oil hinges with it.
-
Step 5
Use it to change washers on the sink. It is an excellent lubricant and helps to counter the hard water buildup on the threads. It doesn't take much.
-
Step 6
Shine up stainless steel with it. Just dab some mineral oil on a paper towel prior to shining.
-
Step 7
Clean wooden cabinets with it. Sticky fingerprints will be removed.
-
Step 8
Add lemon juice to it to use as a furniture polish.
-
Step 9
Treat butcher block surfaces with it.
-
Step 10
Use on soapstone counter tops to keep them looking new.
-
Step 11
Make new clay pots look aged by applying mineral oil.
-
Step 12
Smear your finger with mineral oil and use it to coat your wooden handled knives. Let knives sit on newspaper overnight and then in the morning wipe the handles off with a paper towel.
