How To Make a Homemade Sauce for Chips

  1. Step 1

Thoroughly wash all vegetables before beginning preparation to ensure there are no insecticides or contaminants.

  2. Step 2

Slice each tomato into four parts. Remove the core or the hard center part of the tomato. Place your tomato pieces in the chopper or blender and chop thoroughly. Pour the tomatoes into a mixing bowl.

  3. Step 3

Chop up your onion and place it in the chopper or blender. Chop or blend thoroughly and pour onions into the mixing bowl with your tomatoes.

  4. Step 4

Prepare your bell peppers and jalapeno peppers for chopping by cutting the stems off, cutting in half and removing the seeds. Leave the jalapeno seeds in to make a hotter sauce. Place the peppers in the chopper or blender and chop or blend thoroughly. Add to the mixture in the mixing bowl.

  5. Step 5

Stir all vegetables together, blending well.

  6. Step 6

Enhance the flavor of your sauce by adding garlic powder, sea salt and any other natural seasonings you are fond of.

  7. Step 7

Store your homemade sauce in an air-tight container and refrigerate.
