How to Make Your Own Kids' Halloween Costumes
Halloween is a popular holiday, especially among youngsters who want to dress up and knock on doors asking for candy. Some of the best Halloween costumes are not purchased at a store but are made by hand at home. It does not have to take a lot of time or money to make the perfect Halloween costume.

1
Create a "Jelly Bean Bag" costume by purchasing a clear garbage bag and multicolored balloons. Blow up a lot of balloons. Cut out holes in a trash bag for your child's arms and legs. Put the child in the bag, and then fill the bag with the multicolored balloons. Tie a very loose bow around the top at your child's neck (so as not to harm your child and allow air inside the bag). You also might want to add a sign that says "Jelly Beans" to the front.

2
Make your child a "Shooting Star" by having them dress all in black and attaching a large cardboard star to their front that is made out of silver poster board. Give them a plastic water gun, and they're instantly a shooting star!

3
Make your child a "Smartie Pants" by purchasing a bag of Smarties candy and taping the candies to your child's pant leg.
-
4
Make your child "Black Eyed Peas" by using black face paint to draw the letter P around the child's eyes.

5
Make your child a "Cereal Killer" by having them wear all black and attaching small cereal boxes to them with tape. On each cereal box, attach a small plastic knife with fake blood coming from it, making it look as though it has been killed.
