How to Make Skinny Jeans Fit Better
Skinny jeans are a fashion item that many women would love to wear, but have trouble fitting into. Some women----though not the majority----have a natural body shape and weight that skinny jeans automatically complement. For those not born with a slender physique, this type of jeans can be fashionable and flattering, but only if you've put in the appropriate work.

Fitting into Your Skinny Jeans

1
Change your diet. Eat five or six small meals a day rather than three large ones in order to boost your metabolism. Choose foods that are high in vitamins, fiber and lean proteins; avoid foods that are high in sugar, saturated fat and sodium.
-
2
Do cardiovascular exercises at least five days a week. Make your sessions 30 minutes to one hour long. These types of exercises include running, brisk walking, stair climbing, step aerobics and most sports.

3
Incorporate strength training into your fitness program; aim to do it every other day. Focus on your belly, butt and legs. Perform toning and strengthening exercises, such as squats and lunges.
-
4
Choose skinny jeans that accentuate your natural body shape. If you are naturally curvaceous, choose dark-colored jeans made out of a stretchy fabric such as Lycra; if your belly isn't flat, choose a higher rise jean to slim this part of your body. If your legs are short, try a longer style, such as a boot cut paired with heels.
