How to Build a Baby Bed Drawer
When you are visiting family or friends, and you don't have access to a pack and play or portable crib, you can use a large drawer to make a crib for your baby. This is a simple solution that is designed for small babies younger than 5 months who are unable to really move well--no crawling, pulling up or standing up on their own). Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Large drawer (minimal 36 inches deep, 48 inches long, with sides at least 10 inches high)

Tips & Warnings
Use a drawer that has high sides to prevent your baby from potentially getting out of the "crib." Check for any potential splinters or screws sticking out that your baby could scratch himself on.
Always place the drawer on a flat surface away from any potential dangerous objects or pathways where people are walking.
