Wii Boxing is a part of the Wii Sports game that comes when you purchase the Nintendo Wii video game console. Wii Sports specifically utilizes the wireless remote controls and sensor to simulate playing the actual sports. In the game, you can use your Wii remote and nunchuck to simulate the experience of boxing by punching and blocking. Becoming the best at Wii Boxing takes practice. The only way to determine if you're the best is to continually defeat friends and family without difficulty.

How to Be the Best in Wii Boxing

  1. Step 1

Master blocking punches. It's important that be able to quickly react and stop a punch from an opponent. Hold the Wii remote and nunchuck vertically, and bring the controllers toward your face to block the opponents punches. Do the same for all of areas of your body to block being punched in your chest or stomach. Dodge the opponent's punches by moving left or right. You can also dodge while you are blocking.

  2. Step 2

Practice jabs, hooks and uppercuts. Hold the Wii remote and nunchuck vertically near your face, then quickly jerk one hand forward to do a jab punch. Perform an uppercut by bringing your remotes near the ground and then bringing one arm up quickly. Swing your Wii remote around at the right time and angle to hit the opponent with a left or right hook.

  3. Step 3

Play in training mode to practice, and learn all of the different types of punches you can do. Once you're comfortable enough, click on the single-player option to win a championship all by yourself. Beat the grand champion, last opponent, to win the silver boxing gloves.

  4. Step 4

Play against other people in the two-player mode. Use the silver gloves that you've won by holding down the "1" button on the Wii remote right before the screen goes black before a match starts (see References). This glove will help you a lot in your matches; you'll be able to punch as hard as you want without hurting your health. When you use a normal glove, you will decrease your health if you perform too many hard punches at a time.

  5. Step 5

Use repetitions of strong punches once your opponent is in recovery. The best way to win at this point is to perform a mix of strong jabs, uppercuts and hooks. You should have no problem being the best over your opponent once you've mastered combinations of punches and won the silver gloves.
