Instructions

    • 1

Mount the cell phone repeater's antenna unit in an area, in or around your home or office that receives the best cellular signal. Use your cell phone's signal strength indicator to guide you; the more signal bars your receive, the more desirable the location.

    • 2

Decide what area of the house you'll be using your cell phone the most, and mount the amplifier unit as close to the center of this area as possible. Keep in mind that cell phone repeaters, according to CellBoosterStore.com, use a "horizontal broadcast plane". This means your best reception will be on the same floor that the repeater is installed on.

    • 3

Connect the antenna unit to the amplifier. Run a piece of coax cable from the coax port on the antenna unit, to the coax port on the amplifier unit.

    • 4

Connect the amplifier's AC power supply to power port on the back of the unit, and then plug it into a power outlet. Power the amplifier unit on.
