How to Remove Yahoo Toolbar

If you have determined you no longer need or want the Yahoo toolbar when you are connected to the Internet you can remove it. Many people find it convenient to have access to the Yahoo toolbar for email, search functions and all the other features Yahoo has added. Removing it is a good idea if you don't use these features while browsing in Internet Explorer, have switched to another browser or find that it slows your Web experience.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" button and type Internet Explorer in the search box. Click Internet Explorer in the results that appear.

2. Click the Pencil button in the Yahoo toolbar to open the settings menu. Click the "Uninstall" option.

3. Click "Uninstall" in the windows that appears. Restart Internet Explorer to complete the process.
