Instructions

  1. Smoothie Directions

    • 1

Blend strawberries, any other fruit you'd like, and yogurt on medium speed until they reach a creamy texture.

    • 2

Add ice and blend on medium-high speed until the ice has broken down to slush. Avoid leaving large ice chunks, as they will lower the quality of the texture and taste.

    • 3

Add sugar and blend at medium speed for about 30 seconds to ensure it is evenly dissipated.

    • 4

Pour into a glass and garnish with cut up strawberries, bananas or other fruits. Add Cool Whip for a sweeter finish.

Tips & Warnings

  • -Experiment by adding a whole banana or a handful of berries (raspberries and blackberries mix well), or pour in a cup of orange or pineapple juice. -Smoothies can be made with whole milk or ice cream instead of yogurt. Try different flavors of each for different tastes. -Always use fresh strawberries instead of frozen. If necessary, fresh strawberries can be frozen for later use. They'll still taste better and have less added sugar and preservatives than frozen strawberries. -Smoothies don't need ice. For a creamier texture, leave the ice out. -Try adding almonds or dates for extra protein, texture and flavor.
