How to Make White Russians
The White Russian is a popular cocktail among vodka drinkers. It combines coffee liqueur and cream to create a sweet drink. It is best to prepare the drink in a Collins glass, as this lends to the most accurate measurements. If you don't have a Collins glass, you can use any glass that safely holds the required amounts of liquid. You don't need a cocktail shaker, either; this drink is best prepared mixed in the glass it will be served in. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
The measurements are just guidelines. There is supposed to be three times more vodka than coffee liqueur, but some people may like their drinks made a particular way. Light drinkers tend to like more cream and heavy drinkers tend to like more vodka. Fill your cup to the top with ice. Most drink recipes are measured based on the amount of space in the cup after it has been filled with ice. Less ice doesn't mean a stronger drink. It just won't taste like it was meant to. There are many variations of this drink. An Anna Kournikova, named after the tennis star, uses skim milk instead of cream. A Black Russian omits the cream or milk, and a Colorado Bulldog adds cola.
Make sure the cream or milk you're using hasn't expired. This will really ruin the drink and possibly get you sick. If you want to layer the cream on top of your drink, slowly pour the cream over the back of a spoon and let it float on top of the drink. You should mix the vodka and coffee liqueur before you do this. There are many generic versions of vodka and coffee liqueur, but quality brands tend to give the best taste and are less likely to cause headaches and hangovers.
