Instructions

    • 1

Determine how many taco shells you would like to make and remove that number of tortillas from the package. You can use corn tortillas to make traditional yellow tacos or you can try flour tortillas for a tasty alternative.

    • 2

Brush a small amount of oil on each side of the tortillas. Place the tortilla on the oven rack around two of the rods, as shown. To make your tortillas without oil, simply omit the oil and continue.

    • 3

Bake the tortillas at 400 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes. Remove the entire oven rack and quickly turn it over to get the tortillas out. You now have tasty, homemade taco shells.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add salt or whatever seasoning you would like, before placing the tortillas in the oven. Doing so will let you customize the flavor.

  • Do not preheat the oven beforehand; doing so will make it difficult to put the tortillas on the rack.
