A shell Necklace is good to wear with your tank top during the summer. This is how you can make your own shell necklace

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • shell
  • cord
  • drill
  1. Step 1

You need to drill a hole in the shell. Make sure you get a round smooth hole. Make sure that it will fit the cord.

  2. Step 2

Add your choice of cord. About 16inch cord is good for a standard size cord necklace, or your can size it to your preference. Run the cord through the hole of the shell. Make sure the both ends of your cord are even.

  3. Step 3

Add a bead of your choice to make your necklace more appealing. Put the bead down the two end of the cord and string it all the way to the shell and then make a tight knot to keep the bead steady by the shell.

  4. Step 4

Add your clasp of choice. You can knot it around you neck or you can use a traditional clasp or you can create your own clasp. Creating your own clasp is easy, just get 24 gauge dead soft wrapping wire and wrap it around your cord and make a hook on one end and the other end make a loop for the hook and your clasp is made.

  5. Step 5

Now that you are finished, your Shell Necklace should look like this.
