    Facial Scrub

  1. Step 1

Weigh 2 oz. of granulated sugar and place it in a small mixing bowl. Measure 1 tsp. of glycerin and add it to the sugar. Mix these two ingredients well.

  2. Step 2

Pour approximately 1/4 cup of oil into a small cup and add six drops of the essential oil of choice. Mix the oils well and then slowly pour them into the sugar mixture.

  3. Step 3

Mix the ingredients well with a spoon. Add more oil if necessary to create a scrub with the proper consistency. It should be thick enough that it holds together as a paste in your hand.

  4. Step 4

Place the scrub in a jar and cover to store.

  5. Body Scrub

  6. Step 1

Measure 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar and 1/2 cup sea salt into a small mixing bowl and mix to combine the dry ingredients.

  7. Step 2

Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup coconut oil to the dry ingredients. Add 1 tbsp. fragrance oil if desired. Mix well and allow it to stand for two hours.

  8. Step 3

Mix the scrub again after letting it stand. If the scrub is not moist enough, add more coconut oil to create a moist paste.

  9. Step 4

Place the scrub in a jar and cover to store.

Tips & Warnings
  • Essential oils are natural oils and fragrance oils are synthetic oils. Essential oils have some therapeutic properties that fragrant oils do not have.
