How to Use Air Spray

Air spray, often referred to canned air, is used to clean dust off of electronics. It is especially useful for using on keyboards, computers, DVD players and televisions. Using canned air eliminates the risk of damage that would be caused by using water to clean electronics. Despite the name, canned air is actually made up of different types of gases.

• Can of air spray

Instructions

1. Choose the right type of air spray for your needs. The can will describe on its label what it is intended to be used for.

2. If there is a straw attached to the can, remove it and insert it into the spray nozzle located on the top of the can. The straw is used to aim the spray more effectively.

3. Hold the nozzle back about four inches from the object that needs to be cleaned. Press and hold the nozzle so that the gas sprays directly onto the object.

4. Spray every part of the object until it is free of dust.
