Circle the right wing forward and behind the defensive players, ending in the opposite face-off circle.

  5. Step 5

Skate the left wing to the high slot.

  6. Step 6

Move the center into the middle, then cut right into the face-off circle.

  7. Step 7

Pass the puck from the right to left defender while moving the center into the middle.

  8. Step 8

Draw the defense slightly out of its zones by the right and left crisscrossing wings.

  9. Step 9

Pass from the left defender to the center.

  10. Step 10

Tips & Warnings
  • In case the goalie is successful in blocking the shot, keep the right wing close for a possible rebound.
  • The right defender will be passing between two defensive players. If the right side of the defense is not drawn loose, the puck will be intercepted and your goalie will have no one to guard for a possible breakout.
