Making or Earning Money for one to two days to help balance the check book can be tricky. There are things you can do to make some extra money quick and easy. Try it - Tie your arm behind your back and see if you can't still pick up some extra cash! Even KIDS can make money with some of these suggestions.

BANK JOINING OFFERS: Check your mail and make some calls. Check out Bank of America, CHASE, Wells Fargo and your local credit unions for their current offers. These offer often come in the mail and are tossed out. Watch for the offers. Often these offers are open to children or students. Credit Card companies often have cash back offers as well.
Step 2

SAVINGS PROGRAMS: Banks often offer programs to encourage savings. Bank of America is one of the first and most well known of these programs. They round up your spending on a debit card and deposit the change into your savings account matching it up to a certain dollar amount. Is that not a nifty way to earn money with one hand tied behind your back?

Look for programs for your kids too. You can be cosigner and they will learn money on their savings too. Wells Fargo has some good programs. Your local credit union may have awesome kids program. It is an easy way to teach them the best ways to save money. Regular, consistent contribution. Look up the Rule of 72 for how interest on these savings account will compound and deliver over the life of your bank account.

SPARE CHANGE: You can find money in couches, cars, telephone booths and spare change returns. Check out Coinstar machines for change that is left behind. Grab some books on coin collecting and learn to look for the valuable coins. Some people use metal detectors to find coins and jewelry. Save all your found coins in a cookie JAR and after filling it take it to the bank. Most banks will sort and convert it to dollars for you free of charge.

CREATIVE WAYS TO EARN: Participate in survey's or medical health studies. You can also find focus groups from your area.

Rent out a room if you own your home. Make sure to run a background check so that you have some assurance of payment and character.

What do those have to do with banking? If you bank everyone of those dollars for one year and place in higher yield bank products you will end up with a lot more money in a few short years. Look up the rule of 72. Life passes fast - do it now!

There are many other ways to pick up a few dollars here and there that are fairly easy.
