A simple italian pasta salad recipe vegetable medley

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Rotini Pasta
  • Cucumber
  • Large Tomato
  • Can of Black Olives
  • Green Pepper
  • Yellow Pepper
  • Red Pepper
  • Italian Dressing
  • Grated Parmesan
  1. Step 1

    Cook rotini pasta following cooking instructions on box.

  2. Step 2

    Drain water from pasta and place pasta in large bowl.

  3. Step 3

    Let pasta cool to room temperature.

  4. Step 4

    While pasta cools cut the vegetables to size. You may vary the sizing and portion of vegetables to suit your taste.

  5. Step 5

    In general, peel and slice the cucumber. Once sliced, cut slices into fours. Cut tomato into dime sized pieces (no particular shape). Dice green , yellow, and red pepper to tiny cubes.

  6. Step 6

    Portion to taste the amount of each vegetable you’ll be adding to amount of pasta prepared.

  7. Step 7

    Add cut vegetables and black olives to bowl of cooled pasta.

  8. Step 8

    Mix contents of bowl with large spoon or spatula to spread vegetables evenly throughout pasta.

  9. Step 9

    Pour in about a cup of Italian dressing . (may add more or less to liking.) Gently mix contents of bowl.

  10. Step 10

    Last, top pasta with grated parmesan cheese.

Tips & Warnings
  • Pasta served best cold. Refrigeration after preparation recommended.
