Things You'll Need

  • 1 pound whole grain macaroni
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3/4 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion
  • 1/2 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 2 cans tuna in water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

      Cook the whole grain macaroni pasta in boiling water until it is almost cooked through. Leave it a little underdone because it will cook a bit more as it cools.

      Strain the pasta and cool it completely. Drizzle a little olive oil over the noodles to keep them from sticking together.

      Combine the macaroni, mayonnaise, sweet relish, diced celery, chopped green onion, diced red bell pepper and apple cider vinegar.

      Strain the water out of the tuna and break it up with a fork. Add the tuna to the macaroni salad and combine it well. Season the salad to taste and serve.
