Optimizing your productivity is the fastest and easiest way to fit more into your busy day. Stop looking back on your weeks and wondering where the time went, and start enjoying your weekend knowing you're ahead of the game!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Batch emails - Microsoft Outlook and other professional email systems allow you to only receive emails when you call them down instead of having the inbox automatically update. Reduce your distractions and increase your productivity by batching your emails.

  2. Step 2

Make To-Do Lists - Easiest and most cliche way to be more productive, writing to-do lists means you are able to visibly see what you need to accomplish which can help you keep the time you take to do tasks in perspective.

  3. Step 3

Clean Your Workspace Every Morning - Taking 20 minutes to clean off your desk and file those lingering papers can make a huge difference not only in your effectiveness for the rest of the day, but also for the rest of the week. A clear workspace reduces distractions and creates an atmosphere conducive to productive work.

  4. Step 4

Sign Off Chats - gChat, AIM, MSN Messenger, and other chat systems are the most distracting productivity killers out there. Allow yourself a short chat break in the morning, at lunch, and in the afternoon, and beyond that just SIGN OFF. This alone can take your productivity to the next level!
