- 1 TABLESPOON SUGAR
- 3 EGGS, SEPERATED
- 3/4 CUP DAIRY SOUR CREAM
- 3/4 CUP SWEET MILK OT BUTTER MILK
- 1/4 CUP LARD OR VEGETABLE SHORTENING, MELTED
- 1/4 BUTTER, MELTED

SIFT DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER. BEAT EGG YOLKS, SOUR CREM AND MILK. ADD TO DRY INGREDIENTS, ALTERNATING WITH THE FATS THAT ARE ROOM TEMPERTURE.
STIR UNTIL BATTER IS SMOOTH AN FREE OF ANY LUMPS. FOLD IN EGG WHITES,BEATEN STIFF. -

COOK THE WAFFLES IN YOUR WAFFLE IRON ACCORDING TO THE MANUFACTURER'S DIRECTIONS.
SERVE WITH HONEY, SYRUP, PERSERVES, ECT.

TRY WAFFLES WITH FRESH FRUITS AN A LITTLE WHIP CREAM. THE KIDS WILL REALLY LIKE IT. MAYBE EVEN TRY IT WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS AN WHIP CREAM.
BUT THEIR ALWAYS GOOD JUST WITH SYRUP.
YOU'LL FIND THAT WAFFLES ARE REALLY FUN TO MAKE WITH YOUR KIDS. AS WELL WHEN THEY GET OLDER THEY CAN MAKE YOU THESE FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY OR MOTHER'S OR FATHER'S DAY.
JUST REMEMBER WHO EVER COOKS RELAXES AFTERWARD AND THE ONES WHO SAT BACK AN RELAXED HAVE TO DO THE DISHES.
