Things You'll Need:
- wrapping paper
- scissors
- string or a ribbon that matches the wrapping sailor
- a rubber band or something to tie off your bag
-
Step 1
Depending on the size of your present unroll paper and place your gift on the paper so the paper's edges are about twice as far from the present as its longest side.
E.g: if you have a 3 inch long gift, you leave 6 inches -
Step 2
Once you have your paper's dimensions figured out, mark where you will be cutting, and cut a round circle at those markings. You should have a circular piece of wrapping paper when you are done.
-
Step 3
Place the gift in the middle of the paper, then pull all the edges of the paper together, smoothing out folds as they appear. You should have a bunch of extra paper in your hands that looks similar to a bouquet.
(It's optional to wrap the gift in tissue paper before placing it in the wrapping paper.) -
Step 4
Tie the extra paper bouquet with a rubber band, so the paper bag doesn't open. Be careful not to rip the paper as you tie it off
-
Step 5
Tie the string or ribbon around the narrow point of the paper bouquet in a bow to hide the rubber band. Have fun with beautiful and inexpensively wrapped present.
