Nothing bland about salmon here! Jazz up your salmon fillets with this simple and unusual glaze. These fillets make a perfect addition to a summer barbecue, but work just as well in the oven during the colder months of the year. This is easy enough for weekly meals, but is bound to wow at any dinner party!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Dry Sherry
  • 1 clove Crushed Garlic
  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons Honey
  • Salmon Fillets
  1. Step 1

Combine the soy sauce, sherry and crushed garlic in a large ziplock bag. Add the fish fillets and marinade for at least one hour, turning occasionally. If you would like a stronger marinade flavor on your salmon, marinade overnight.

  2. Step 2

Remove the salmon from the marinade and reserve three tablespoons of the marinade. Add the marinade to a small saucepan in addition to the brown sugar and honey. Cook until boiling and the sugar has dissolved.

  3. Step 3

Baste the marinated salmon with the brown sugar glaze and grill or bake until tender and flaky. Simple as that, and you have gourmet salmon that is sure to impress!

Tips & Warnings
  • If you'd like a stronger taste on your salmon, marinade overnight and baste several times with the glaze as it cooks
