How to Make eHow Your Home Page

Make eHow the first page you see when you go online, and you'll be that much closer to finding your how-to solutions. These instructions are for Windows versions of the browsers. Macintosh instructions may vary.

  • Modems
  • Internet Access
  • Web Browsers

    Internet Explorer 5

  1. Step 1

    Open the Tools menu and select Internet Options.

  2. Step 2

    Make sure the General tab is selected.

  3. Step 3

    Type "www.ehow.com" in the Address field. If you're already at the eHow site, you can click Use Current instead.

  4. Netscape Navigator or Communicator 4.0 or Later

  5. Step 1

    Open the Edit menu and select Preferences.

  6. Step 2

    Select Navigator in the Categories list.

  7. Step 3

    Type "www.ehow.com" in the Location field. If you're already at the eHow site, you can click Use Current Page instead.

Tips & Warnings
  • In a Netscape browser, you can also press Ctrl+D while on a page to add it as a bookmark.
