Things You'll Need:

  • Full Face Helmet
  • Tire Pressure Gauge
  • Safe go cart storage area
  1. Step 1

To ensure go cart safety it is necessary to make sure your go cart is in good working order prior to using it. You should always check the tire pressure before each use. Make sure the tires are at the appropriate tire pressure level. If needed add air to the tires before using.

  2. Step 2

You will also need to check all of the nuts, blots, and screws on your go cart to make sure they are not loose or damaged. Make sure you replace or repair any missing or damaged parts before using the go cart. Your go cart equipment must be in good working order.

  3. Step 3

Check the gas level on your go cart before you start it. If you need to add gas only do so when the go cart is off. Never overfill the gas tank on your go cart and do not fill the go cart with gasoline near an open flame.

  4. Step 4

When riding your go cart you should always wear a full face helmet. This will protect your entire face and head from injury. This will improve your go cart safety and protect you from a head injury.

  5. Step 5

Your go cart should always be stored in dry area where there are no open flames or possible sparks. You do not want the gas fumes to come into contact with either. It is also a good idea to drain the gasoline from the go cart prior to storing for a long period of time.

Tips & Warnings
  • If your go cart is making odd noises or is not operating properly stop it immediately as a part could be loose or damaged and needs to be repaired quickly.
