A simple but creative and effective magic trick that anyone can perform with just a simple coin and a few minutes of practice

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Any coin
  1. Step 1

Place you left hand flat against the back of your neck, exposing your left elbow to an audience member

  2. Step 2

Have the audience member cup both hands and place them under your elbow, so they will be able to catch the coin that will fall from your elbow

  3. Step 3

With your right hand, take the coin and pretend to rub it into your elbow. After a couple of seconds, “accidentally” let it fall into the audience member’s cupped hands

  4. Step 4

Pick up the coin with your left hand (this is important), and pass it back to your right hand

  5. Step 5

Repeat step 3, letting it fall a second time into the audience member’s hand

  6. Step 6

THIS TIME when you pick up the coin, only pretend to pass off the coin to your right hand. The audience needs to believe the coin was passed off to your right hand and is being rubbed into your elbow for a third time

  7. Step 7

Secretly place the coin behind your neck as the audience is watching you rub your elbow, thinking you are rubbing the coin into your elbow

  8. Step 8

Slowly remove your hand from your elbow, slowly show your empty hands, and the audience will think the coin has disappeared into your elbow

Tips & Warnings
  • Practice step 6 several times before performing this trick. This is the key step to getting the desired effect
  • Feel free to make the trick your own by adding different movements or a different presentation. Have fun and be creative!
