How to Transform an Apartment Patio
Living in apartment can feel constricting if you live in a small one. Transforming a patio, however, can give you a little extra nook to call your own and can provide some beautiful solace. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Power washer or bucket and scrub brush
- Flowers
- Flower pots
- Strings of lights
- Bistro set or chair
- Rug

Power wash your patio, or use a bucket and scrub brush to give it a deep cleaning.

Plant flowers either in the beds in front of it (if you live on the ground floor), or hang baskets that will provide plenty of greenery. Climbing flowers can be weaved through the railings and up a trellis on your wall.

Wrap white lights around the railings or up and down the greenery as much as possible.

Place a small bistro set in the corner. If you don't have space for one, even just a small chair can add a cozy feel.

Add color and comfort with an outdoor rug.

A water fountain sitting off to the side adds a really nice atmosphere of tranquility.
Use power washers carefully. Do not spray the apartment building itself or any windows, and only operate if you're on the ground floor.
