List the taxes you pay on your home, or town taxes, college loan payments or any other financial commitments. Include any money you may owe to friend or family members.

      Now that you have gathered all of your assets and liabilities make a two column list. Label one side assets and the other side liabilities. Add all of your assets together and subtract your liabilities from the assets. The amount you end up with is your net worth. This is your base. You have now found how much you are worth.
