How to Get Accepted into a Nursing Program

It takes a special kind of professional to excel in the career of nursing; that's why there is often careful screening to get into nursing courses, especially RN and LPN programs. Follow these steps to get accepted into a RN or LPN program.

      Get good grades in your pre-requisite classes.

      One thing that all LPN or RN programs take into consideration before accepting students is the level of performance in prior classes, such as the pre-reqs. To ensure acceptance, be sure to study hard and always attend class.

      Your CNA is a must for most LPN courses and it also makes it easier to get into an opportunity that provides hands-on experience, such as an internship or employment position within a health care office.
