Step 1
Start out by playing The Storm Mission in Halo 3 campaign on normal difficulty or harder from the beginning of the mission. Skulls do not appear on levels in Halo 3 if you are on easy mode or start off from one of the checkpoints in the level.

Step 2
Play until you find the first anti-air wraith. You will see two large cylinders in the middle of the field. Go towards the one that is closest to the anti-air wraith and get on top of it. You must get on top of this before you kill the wraith or the skull will not appear. You can use vehicles or a partner if you are playing co-op to get on top of this.

Step 3
Once you are on top of the cylinder, you will see the Catch skull. Walk on top of it and press RB and you will pick up the skull. You have now successfully unlocked the Catch skull in Halo 3 for the Xbox 360 and can access it from the campaign menu by pressing the X button.
