Things You'll Need:

  • A computer with Internet
  1. Step 1

Read the terms and conditions of offers before you submit your information or credit card details. Many of the offers that require credit card details will give you a free trial for the first month, and will then bill you monthly afterwards at exorbitant rates for the product. They also make it very difficult to cancel.

  2. Step 2

Call the or e-mail the company before you submit your details. One way to make sure that you will be able to cancel the product if you don't like it is to always call the company before you order to see if you will be able to get through later on.

  3. Step 3

Be careful about e-mail zip and submits. These are the $500 or $1000 free gift cards that you will see advertised for companies like Wal-mart, Home Depot, Best Buy and others. Although these are not scams they do make it very difficult to get the offers by giving you tens of forms to fill out. They will also generally require a purchase to get the card.

  4. Step 4

Go to CoolFreebieSite.com. This site contains legitimate Freebies, free trials, and discounts. Many of the offers do not require a credit card. They have everything from free Mp3s, to video games, food trials, perfume and beauty products. Its perfect free stuff for students.
