This article will teach you how to care for your cat and your belongings. It will show you several tips and suggestions.

  1. Step 1

    Lawns and Gardens- To keep cats out of your gardens- Use French’s Mustard, Gold Medal Flour, and McCormick Ground Cayenne pepper it’s all natural and harmless. Mix two tablespoons of the mustard, and two tablespoons of Gold Medal Flour, one tablespoon of four and one tablespoon of cayenne pepper, and two cups of water in a 16 ounce spray bottle. Shake and spray the solution around the flowerbeds, vegetable gardens, or the perimeter of your yard. Also try- Heinz White Vinegar. Fill the bottle with the vinegar and spray around your yard.

  2. Step 2

    Litter Boxes- To eliminate your cat’s little box, cover the bottom of the litter box with arm and harmer baking soda and then add the litter on top.

  3. Step 3

    if you are tired of changing the litter box or you ran out of cat liners. Place the cat litter box inside a trash bag and pour the cat box filler on top of the plastic covering the open side of the box. To clean lift out the bag, turn it inside out, and discard.

  4. Step 4

    20 Mule Team Borax. To control odors in a cat litter box, mix one and a half cups of 20 Mule Team Borax to every five pounds of cat box filler.

  5. Step 5

    Pet Dishes - Frisbee you can use a Frisbee as a cat or dog dish when ever you are out camping, or hiking. It can be used for food or water.

  6. Step 6

    Pet hair- You can use 405 Hair Spray and Kleenex Tissues. To remove the pet hair from furniture, spray a Kleenex with 4O5 hair spray and pat the furniture with the sticky tissue to pick up the hairs.

  7. Step 7

    Also try packaging tape. Wrap the packaging tape around your hand you use it on the furniture.

  8. Step 8

    Pooper Scoopers- Instead of spending money on a pooper Scooper. You can make one. Just take a bleach jug and cut it in half and use the half with a handle to scoop up the doggy mess.

  9. Step 9

    Or you can also use a Ziploc Bag, just turn the bag inside out, put your hand inside the bag like a glove. Pick up the mess and pull your hand right side out again. Shut the bag and threw it away.

  10. Step 10

    Stains- after blotting up most of the stain from the carpet. Try using Canada Dry Club Soda and Arm and Hammer Baking Soda, pour it on the stain and blot it up with a paper towel. Let it dry completely pour a small amount of baking soda on the stain. Let stand with 15 min. and vacuum up. The baking soda neutralizes the odor.
    Also try Huggies baby wipes, Just take a wipe and blot up the stain.
