For players new to World of Warcraft (also known as WoW), making hundreds of gold can seem impossible. These steps will get you started on your way to lots of WoW gold!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet connection
  • World of Warcraft game
  1. Step 1

Accept all the easy quests from the nearby quest-givers in your starting area. Often, these can be simultaneously and all will have monetary rewards.

  2. Step 2

Loot everything from every monster you kill and sell it back to the merchants. Even when the buyback screen looks full, you can still sell things back. This is an easy way to make gold while gaining experience. Sometimes the monsters drop bags so you don’t need to sell items back as frequently since you have more space.

  3. Step 3

Learn primary professions when you can and sell the items you gather at the nearest auction house. Mining and herbalism can both make alot of gold for you, but you can only effectively have one at once. I think that mining is more lucrative at the moment as far as selling raw materials goes.

  4. Step 4

You can sell the items you make with a primary profession, though not all of them are big gold-makers at the lower levels. Naturally, mining and blacksmithing go together well, but you cant sell the items you create for alot of gold. Do some careful research before you pick a profession. In my opinion, alchemy, engineering, enchanting, and inscription are among the most lucrative professions.

  5. Step 5

Learn cooking, fishing, and first aid,as secondary professions, so you can sell the fish you catch and the items you create for gold!

Tips & Warnings
  • Loot and sell everything!
  • Check Auction House prices so you don't set prices too high or low
