How to Make a Female Toga

Women can wear togas at parties or during Halloween and add a feminine touch with a thin belt, earrings or a pair of goddess sandals. Create one by using any-sized flat bed sheet and a few safety pins, which all make for a fast, easy-to-make costume. Togas are extremely comfortable, and you can show as little or as much skin as you like.

Things You'll Need

• White sheet
• 3 to 4 safety pins

Instructions

1. Take one corner of a white sheet in your left hand, and place it over your right shoulder. The fabric shouldn't leave your shoulder; you will use this part to tie the fabric in a later step.

2. Wrap the sheet around the length of your body. Keep the sheet tight against your body, especially underneath the armpits.

3. Continue to wrap the sheet around your body as needed until you are completely covered. There should be approximately 3 feet of loose fabric remaining in front of you.

4. Take the remaining fabric, and tie it to the loose fabric you made in Step 1. Secure the toga with safety pins underneath your arms and anywhere else where the fabric appears loose.
