How to Block Facebook Applications

Before using a Facebook application, you must integrate it with your Facebook account. However, some of these applications will have access to your personal information and can clog up your news feeds with unnecessary notifications. You can block an application that you do not like after logging into your Facebook account.

Instructions

1. Go to Facebook.com and log into your Facebook account.

2. Type the name of a Facebook application into the search box at the top of your Facebook account page.

3. Click the option labeled "See more results" on the context menu.

4. Click the "View App" button next to the Facebook application.

5. Click the option labeled "Block App" on the lower-left corner of the page. Click "Okay" to block the Facebook application.
