Go to oapub1.srs.ks.gov/OAWeb/staticPages/index.html. Click the blue "GO" button near the bottom of the page. Next, click "SKIP THE SELF-ASSESSMENT AND GO DIRECTLY TO THE APPLICATION." On the next page, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the blue "GO ON" button.

Register by filling in your last name, ZIP code, date of birth and mother's maiden name. Then create a password and click the box to confirm that the household for which you are applying for benefits is located within the state of Kansas. Click "START NEW APPLICATION."

Write down the application tracking number provided on the next page. This number will be used if you have to stop your application before completing, and need to return later. Click the box next to "FOOD ASSISTANCE." Fill out the application with all of your personal information, such as address and phone number, and submit.
