Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • Nutmeg
  • Honey
  1. Step 1

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Peel and slice 4 sweet potatoes, about a 1/4 inch in thickness and about 2 inches in length. In a large bowl combine 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt cold water the potatoes and 1 tablespoon of honey and soak for 15 minutes. Be sure to drizzle the honey over the sweet potatoes.

  2. Step 2

In a quart size zip loc bag combine 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg. Make sure the bag is sealed and shake til all ingredients are well mixed.

  3. Step 3

Drain and blot the potatoes, and add them to your zip loc mixture, and shake again. Place them in a single layer on the greased baking sheet. Bake turning them as they brown until cooked through and crisp, about 45 minutes. Sprinkle with a little sea salt. Makes about 4 servings. Each serving has about 200 calories.
