That's because you basically put your work online, allow other people to purchase it and in exchange Greeting Card Universe prints and mails the cards to the buyer and takes a small percentage of your profit. If you can't draw, consider teaming up with someone who can.

Go to Blue Mountain Arts. Blue Mountain Arts is a well known greeting card publisher that accepts written poetry, prose and verses for a variety of card lines that are sold in stores. The pay is anywhere from $50 to $300 per verse that they buy.

Tips & Warnings
Don't expect a quick response to your submittals. It sometimes takes months for them to respond due to the number of submittals they receive.
Submit seasonal verses, like Christmas cards, as least six months in advance of the holiday.
Greeting card verses can sometimes be submitted online or through email. However, it is more common to write each verse on a separate 3" by 5" index card and mail it to the greeting card publisher.
