How to Make Your Own Bathroom Cleaner
Save money and go green by making your own bathroom cleaner. Most of the ingredients you probably already have in your house, making this simple and easy project practically free. Things You'll Need
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- Small tub or bucket
- Spray bottle
- Paper towel or sponge

Mix 1/2 cup of vinegar, 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1/2 gallon of water in a tub or bucket. Use a large spoon to mix. Be aware that the smell of vinegar is quite strong and may require you to open windows.

Fill an empty spray bottle or other reusable bottle with the cleaner. Store the extra cleaner mix in the bucket or tub with a lid. You can reuse old cleaner bottles or buy them new at large retailers.

Label the bottle with the ingredients so you know exactly what you're using in the future.

Spray an area to be cleaned with the homemade bathroom cleaner. Scrub or rub with a paper towel or sponge.

Tips & Warnings
To clean toilets, simply mix 1/4 cup of baking soda with 1 cup of vinegar in the toilet basin and let it foam for a few minutes, then scrub and rinse.
Do not drink or ingest the bathroom cleaner. Even though it is non-toxic, it is still a good idea to keep the cleaner out of a child's reach.
