When you have too much to drink a hangover can be the result of excessive alcohol intake. There are steps you can take to get rid of a hangover though. This article will outline the methods on how to quickly get rid of a hangover.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first step you can take to quickly get rid of a hangover is to drink a large glass of grapefruit juice, tomato juice, or orange juice. These drinks are high in Vitamin C, and Vitamin C will minimize the effects of alcohol on your body and help you quickly get rid of a hangover.

  2. Step 2

The second step you can take to get rid of a hangover quickly is to drink sports drinks. Sports drinks are high in electrolytes which you lose when you are drinking. Drinking can make you dehydrated and replacing the water and electrolytes you lost from drinking can help you get rid of your hangover. You should drink three sports drinks the day that you are having a hangover. One in the morning, one in the afternoon, and then one at night.

  3. Step 3

The third step to get over a hangover quickly is to eat two slices of whole wheat bread with honey spread on them the day after drinking. Honey is high in Fructose which is a natural sugar and helps the body burn off alcohol faster. To get more Fructose in your body you can accompany the 2 slices of bread and honey with an apple or a few grapes.
