Step 1
Prepare your fruit
To best infuse the vodka it is important to prepare the fruit you will be using. Thoroughly wash your fruit with water to remove any dirt, chemical sprays or pesticides that may be on the fruit. If using berries, you can leave them whole. For all other fruit, cut into one inch chunks and feel free to leave the rinds on – often they will help impart natural color as well as flavor to the vodka. -
Step 2
Put your fruit into your container.

Step 3
Add vodka. Pour the vodka over the fruit into the container
-
Step 4
Seal the container and put in your fridge or on your counter. The alcohol will keep the fruit from spoiling.
-
Step 5
Wait 7-10 days. Often the fruit will impart a natural color to the vodka which makes it pretty for parties.
-
Step 6
To strain the fruit from the vodka, pour the vodka through the cheesecloth from the container into another container or back into its original bottle. This will remove any fruit pieces to ensure your vodka is smooth.
