Step 1
When starting, always make sure your ankle is about 90 degrees.
Take inside ribbon and wrap it around the front of the ankle and then around the back of the ankle. Wrap ribbon around the front of the ankle for a second time finishing around the backside but holding the ribbon straight out. -
Step 2
Take the second ribbon and wrap it around the front of the ankle. Proceed to wrapping it around the backside of the ankle but cross it over the top of the first ribbon on the back side. Bring ribbon up to the front of the ankle and then thread it thru itself. Make sure ribbons are laying flat on the skin.
-
Step 3
Both ribbons should meet at the back of the ankle. In the natural groove behind the ankle bone, tie ribbons in a double knot. Cut any extra ribbon off. Ends can be slightly burnt so the ribbons do not start to unravel. Tuck cut ribbon ends up underneath wrapped ribbon.
