Things You'll Need:
- 2 big boxes of Balloons.
- A ball of string
- 50' clothesline rope
- a few pair of scissors
- Friends to help you tie and fill balloons
- A tank of Helium
- 2 bricks
-
Step 1
1 get a Tank of Helium from a dealer in your neighborhood,
their number is in your Yellow Pages. a clothesline type of rope will
be needed to make the skeleton of your arch, to tie your Balloons to the clothes line with. find an Area or a room to hold the balloons until needed. -
Step 2
2 Tie one end of the Clothe line rope to one of the Bricks.
tie the other end of a 25' rope to the other Brick. You can also use a chair, table leg or anything that is available to be used as Anchors for the Balloon Arch.
Divide the string into 12" pieces, use the scissors to cut the string pieces and have them ready before you start tye off Balloons. -
Step 3
Start Assembling your Arch, use the pieces of 1" string to the previously tied off Balloon spouts. (everyone knows how to tie off the end of a blown up, Balloon to the Clothe line Rope that has been tied to the Bricks. Just keep tieing the Balloons to the rope until you run out of Balloons or Helium. You will probably need a full tank of Helium for a 25' Arch, and 2 Big boxes of "round shaped" Balloons (your choice of colors). It will probably take 2 people most of the day to finish your Balloon Arch. make sure you have a safe place to store your Arch until it is needed. Do you want to transport your assembled Arch or take your supplies to the All of where the event is to be held and assemble it there, at least 8 hrs.
before the event.
