Shrimp on the Bar B!
If you were in Australia, that would be the name of the dish. However, I'm in the USA and we call it Grilled Shrimp on Skewers. The name is not as fancy, but it tastes just as good.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

2-3 lbs large shrimp in their shell
    3 large cloves of garlic
    1 medium onion
    1/2 c. fresh parsley
    1 fresh lemon
    1/4 c. good olive oil
    1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. sherry wine (not cooking sherry)
    2 T. Worcestershire sauce

  2. Step 2

Place shrimp (do not shell) in large zip lock plastic bag. Set aside.
Dice garlic cloves into finely diced pieces. Add to shrimp.
Thinly slice onion. Add to shrimp.
Juice the lemon. Add to shrimp.
Add the parsley, olive oil, soy sauce, sherry wine, and Worcestershire sauce to shrimp.

  3. Step 3

Squeeze out all the air in plastic storage bag to create vacuum effect. The liquid rises to the top of the bag.
    Refrigerate overnight, turn occasionally.

  4. Step 4

Skewer just before grilling in shell.

  5. Step 5

Place on hot grill, grill each side until the shrimp turns pink. Approximately 2 minutes on each side.
    Enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • Provide damp washcloths.
  • provide a bowl to discard the shells.
  • As a side dish add grilled vegetables.
  • Your fingers will do all the work, careful not to stain your clothes.
