Halloween is just around the corner so its time to start thinking about decorations now. You dont have to spend alot of money to get your house ready for halloween, you just need to be a little creative using things around your house.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Here are a few things I make each Halloween that are easy to make and really easy on the budget.

  2. Step 2

    SPIDER-

You will need black trashbags, newspaper, two plastic disposable cups, a sheet of paper, carboard(any box will do),and some hot glue. (glue guns can be bought at walmart for like 3 dollars).

To make the spiders butt you will need to make a ball out of newspaper and then put it in the trash bag. Make it as round as possible. Tape any excess bag down.
To make the head do the same thing as the body but the head needs to be a little smaller size ball.
Put the two ends that have all the tape on them together and glue in place.
For the legs. Cut 8 long pieces of cardboard all the same length. You will then cover the cardboard with black trash bags and glue it in place. Bend the cardboard in the middle so they look like legs. Glue each leg underneath the body.
For the eyes you will need two plastic cups and just cut the bottoms off of them and glue them to the spiders head.
Draw a mouth from paper and glue it to the spiders head.
Put it somewhere in the yard for everyone to see and spread the spiders legs out.

  3. Step 3

    Spider webs-
You will need white yarn and some spider rings ( you can get them from the dollar store or walmart really cheap).

Just tape your yarn to the wall in a pattern similar to a spider web. Take your spider rings and cut the ring part off. Glue the spider part of the ring to the web.

  4. Step 4

    Ideas for across the doorways-

Grab a couple of trash bags and make sure that they will fit the width of your doorway. Then lay them on the floor. From the bottom of the trash bag cut slits to the top but don't cut it all the way. Do this with the whole trash bag. Tape it up above the door. It should look something like the bead curtains but with trash bags instead.

Another ideas is to get a string that is the width of your doorway. Attach spiders hanging from strings along it. Make them different sizes.

  5. Step 5

    From the ceiling-
Hang spiders rings from strings and tack them up on the ceiling throughout the house so they are hanging down.

Make black bats out of construction paper and hang them from the ceiling with string.

  6. Step 6

    Make your own gravestones-

The first way to make gravestones is to get a bunch of paper bags from the grocery store. Cut the tops of the bags so they look like gravestones. Grey is a good color. Use a sponge instead of a paintbrush. It gives it a better texture. Then write in names like frankenstein or make up your own. Put a rock in the bag so it doesn't fly away and tape or staple them at the top.

The second way is to cut tombstone shapes out of cardboard. Paint them grey. Write your names on them. Glue a wood stake to them and put them in the yard like that.

  7. Step 7

Lunch sacks can be used to make decorations as well.

Cut faces in the lunch sacks and put the tea light candles inside. Line your patio or driveway with them.

The second thing you can do with lunch sacks is to put crumble up newspaper in the shape of a ball inside. roll it up in the shape of a pumpkin and glue or tape it together. Spray paint it orange. Draw a pumpkin face on it.

  8. Step 8

Ghosts- Use plastics sacks you get from the grocery store or use small white trash bags. Make a ball out of newspaper and stuff it inside the bag. Put a twist tie under the ball. Turn it over and draw a face. Put string in it and hang it from the trees.

For trick or treaters you can get some suckers and tie tissues around it and put a face on it.

  9. Step 9

Death scene- Have someone lay down on the patio like they just died and trace their outline. Put some caution tape around the area. (can buy at walmart cheap).

  10. Step 10

    Music and lighting-

Get a string of orange lights and hang them around your yard.
Go to walmart and get a black light and replace your porch light with the black light.
Play Halloween music inside the house by a window using a cd or search for Halloween music on your computer.

  11. Step 11

Last but not least decorate your own pumpkin and set it outside.
