Things You'll Need:
- sour cream
- tomatoes
- hamburger
- taco seasoning

Step 1
First you will need to brown the ground beef in a skillet. Once the meat is browned you will need to drain the excess grease off and return to the skillet. Then you will need to add the taco seasoning and one fourth cup of water. Cook on low for 10 minutes. Then you will need to remove from the heat.
-
Step 2
Then you will need to wash the tomatoes thoroughly. Then you will need to cut the tops off of the tomatoes. Then you will scoop out the insides leaving only a little of the tomato left on the skin. Then you will need to fill the tomatoes with taco meat. After you have them filled with the taco meat top with cheddar cheese.

Step 3
Then you will place the tomatoes on a baking sheet and place in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the meat is heated through. Then top with sour cream and some fresh chives. Then it is time to enjoy.

on 10/5/2009 I'm making this great dinner tomorrow night. My husband is trying to stay away from carbohydrates and this is a great alternative to using a taco shell.
