How to Be Prepared to Clean Your Invisalign Braces

Getting Invisalign means you'll have to brush your teeth after every time you eat or drink. Follow these steps and you will always be prepared to clean your aligners!

1. Make handy "invisalign kits." This includes: aligner case, toothbrush, toothpaste. Since your invisalign only comes with one aligner case, use a mint tin in your other kits. If you're going to the park or somewhere that you might not have a bathroom, bring a bottle of water. You can brush your teeth outside and use the water to rinse.

2. Put a kit in every one of your major handbags. Before leaving the house or apartment, always check to see if you have your aligner kit. It's as important as keys, wallet and phone.
   
   Consider also keeping a kit in your desk at the office, or any place you spend a lot of time and have access to.

3. If you forget your toothbrush and toothpaste, don't be cheap or lazy. Go to the nearest drugstore and purchase a travel size toothbrush and toothpaste.
