Filling salt and pepper shakers can be a real hassle without making a mess! No matter how much you try, salt and/or pepper always seems to get all over the place...the floor, the sink, the counter, you name it. There is a much simpler and clean way to make filling salt and pepper shakers quick, efficient, and mess-free. Just follow the simple steps below.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • small funnel
  • tape
  1. Step 1

Before you even think about filling up the salt and pepper shakers, first put tape over the holes. This will give you the ability to turn the shaker upside down without the worry of salt and pepper pouring out.

  2. Step 2

The next thing you need to do is turn the shaker over and remove the little rubber stopper on the bottom.

  3. Step 3

Then insert the small funnel in the hole. Now you are ready to just pour the salt and pepper without the worry of making a mess!

  4. Step 4

When you have your shakers filled, replace the rubber stopper and remove the tape. Voila! You are now ready to spice up your food instead of cleaning up any spills!

Tips & Warnings
  • When taping the holes, allow the tape to go past the edge for easier removal.
