How to clean tough grease stains from your cookware.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Trying to remove tough stains from pots and pans can be a real challenge. I have a proven method that may help you to eliminate grease and grime from your pots and pans. This method is much better than using brillo pads. Brillo can scratch your cookware.

  2. Step 2

First fill your pots and pans halfway with hot water and add about ¼ cup of all-purpose baking soda and about a teaspoon of dishwashing liquid. Allow mixture to sit in pot for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes repeat the process only this time leave mixture in pot for about 20 minutes.

  3. Step 3

After 20 minutes empty contents and rinse with warm water. Wipe off any excess dirt or grease from cookware. Your pots and pans should be spotless. For hard grease stains you may need to increase baking soda content to about ½ cup and add a bit more dish detergent.
